Love almost got her killed. She’s not about to give it a second chance to finish the job.

Paisley Prescott had one thing on her mind when she escaped her abusive husband. Survival. Finding a new romance was not even a remote possibility. Then she met him, and his kindness changed everything for her. Now, against all odds, she’s wishing she could open her heart once again…and it’s utterly terrifying…

Nash Brookes knows domestic abuse when he sees it. After all, he lived through it with his mother. So, he’ll do whatever it takes to help Paisley, including bringing her home with him to the small town of Hope Creek. Falling for her was not part of the plan. But it doesn’t take long for him to do just that…

Earning her trust won’t be easy. He will make mistakes along the way. But when all is said and done, can Nash convince Paisley that love is worth the risk? Or will their shot at happily ever after stay buried beneath the pain of her past?

Vicious, unforgiving, and chasing me.

Maybe I deserve to be hunted for what I’ve done, but I got myself into this and I intend to find my way out. I have a target to hunt, and wrongs to right as best I can. But it doesn’t take me long to realise I’m out of my depth, and that perhaps an ally is what I need.

Noah Locke isn’t someone who’ll do you a favour, certainly not when he’s been sent to catch me, so that means a deal needs to be struck.

And there’s only one thing he wants that I can provide.

It was never meant to be anything more than a means to an end. I’m soft. He’s hard. I’m Neve Broderick. He’s nothing more than a criminal.

We’re from different worlds, and yet time might prove we’re more similar than I could ever imagine.

Especially when he risks everything to save me.

Tara’s 4**** Review

The final instalment in the Broderick Family series is here and it is filled with suspense, and explosions (literally!!)
“She might be pretty, but I like my women harder than that. Preferably used to what real life is and ready to make allowances for my behaviour. Although, maybe this one isn’t what I thought she’d be. Maybe she’s a killer. A smart one.  Can’t say I mind that thought.”
Dealing with murders and lies, the Broderick family is in a rough place. Being part of the tragedy, Neve had to run to prove her innocence. But hot on her heels is Noah, her brother’s personal investigator. Noah has one job….bring Neve home. But when Neve offers Noah a deal that he won’t resist, new feeling come forth, along with new realizations about all their lives.
“Grief consumes my thoughts, and my mind turns to thoughts of each of my family, especially my mother. Good intentions or not, the consequences are very real. Will they ever understand?”
The Fallen brings the whole series together. Charlotte and Rachel do such a great job at keeping the storyline flowing between all the books in the series. Each character plays their roles so well in the stories, adding so much to the drama and excitement. You’ll love to see how much Neve and Noah grow in The Fallen, and how far each of the siblings have come!
“There’s nothing left to give.  I’m done.  Tomorrow I’ll have to face them. All of them.  And all I can hope is that I have enough strength to get through it.”

Ruthless, dispassionate and callous.

I coerce and threaten, using intellect and power to subdue my enemies. That’s what the Cane’s needed in a Lawyer and that’s how the world now sees Landon Broderick. But roles are shifting. And family drama certainly isn’t welcome in my ceaseless unrest.

At least my dirty, little distraction keeps me sane. She’s wild and free, sordid and beneath my standing, and yet I crave her above any other woman. No touching, though. No attachment either.

It isn’t until Willow Etherington, my new PA, diverts my attention that I begin to feel myself weaken. She’s fierce and unyielding, professional and direct. And while sleeping with my staff isn’t usual, if I can’t have the one I want, I might take the one dancing a dangerous path instead.

I make the rules here now.

Family standing be damned.

Excerpt 3 – Willow

Monday finally arrives, and I don’t think I’ve ever felt as excited to get to work. It’s like the first day at school when I was a kid, and everything was shiny and new.

In an hour, I’ll walk into my office, and Landon’s, and I’ll know his darkest, filthiest secret—me.  Even taming my hair feels easier, like it knows that it’s important to cooperate today. The lineup of shoes all look at me as if they want to be chosen today, but my sky-high black heels win out. Fuck-me heels are not my usual go to, but with a red sole, I can still pull them off as professional. Just.

For the first time since I started, I’m early into the office. The floor is quiet, and I go to my desk, turn on my computer and set the coffee machine working. Anticipation has me clapping my hands together in my own personal cheer as I check the time and what’s on the schedule today. Landon has his usual morning briefings, but so do we. And there’s more stuff to organise with the ball just around the corner.

Catering details, floral arrangements, access requests—the list is endless and clogging my inbox.

At precisely nine, I push open Landon’s door, without knocking, and with my tablet in hand I strut across to the seat opposite his desk and sit. I cross my legs in a slow tease, that, if I was wearing what Juniper wore on Friday, should have his eyes popping out of his skull.

Instead, he looks mildly irritated.

I break eye contact, smile to myself, and pull up the calendar app on the tablet. “Shall we begin?” I offer my biggest smile. There’s no way that I’ll let him intimidate or shake me today. “Yes.”

“So, after your run-in with legal, Tonya has requested a meeting with you today to go over her position and contract.”

“Smart, but no. It will be a standard contract. Non-negotiable. She’s lucky I picked her.”  “Salary?”

“Equal to whatever David’s was.”

“I’ll confirm the usual meeting time and amend the calendar accordingly. Did you enjoy Friday night?” I ask with my eyes downcast, scribbling with my stylus on the tablet screen.

“What?” The edge of steel in his voice shouldn’t send my heart racing, but it does. I look up and tilt my head to the side, wondering if he’s picturing me dancing for him again.

“You asked me about Friday last week. I’m merely returning the courtesy. It’s quite common to ask how your weekend was on a Monday morning.” I smile as innocently as I can.

“You didn’t ask me about the weekend. You asked about Friday night.”

“Well, okay. Did you enjoy your weekend?” I uncross and re-cross my legs and lean my elbow on the arm of the chair.

“It was fine. Yours?” He scowls after his question.

“You know, can’t complain. Shall I bring your coffee now? Then we can go over the arrangements for the ball?”

He groans. “Not the ball again. Surely I’ve done enough.”

“It’s the ball to celebrate your father stepping down and you taking over Broderick Media. You could leave it to me, but as your father put this in motion and insisted the venue be Tallington Hall, out in the middle of nowhere, there are points I need clarifying. Why did he choose some draughty estate mansion, anyway? I’d have thought somewhere in the city would be much more your style. Glass, clean lines, open plan.” My little secret has given me a confidence I don’t usually feel outside of my performance, and I’m talking more because of it.

“You don’t know my tastes.” “No, of course, I don’t.” I smile to myself and tilt my head at him. “Not at all.”

“What?” He looks confused. I’m not surprised. “Willow, I don’t have time for this today.”

“I’m sorry. I’ll get your coffee.” I stand and place my tablet on my chair before I sway my hips in my retreat to my office.

Coffee made, I return as casually as I entered the first time. This time, he watches as I come in, his hands steepled together.

I smile as I put the beverage down and go back to my seat.

“So, are you taking a date to the ball?” I start. There isn’t a plus one on the guest list, but I want to know if there’s anybody in his life other than Juniper.

“A date?”

“Yes. They tend to accompany you to these types of events even if you’re not the dating type of guy.”

“They don’t accompany me.” He’s back to being dismissive and gruff.

“Okay. No plus one for you. Your tux is ready and will be sent across from Nuova Moda, and you can take it with you Friday night. The limo is booked for Saturday at four. That way you’ll arrive in plenty of time and before the guests. Unless you want to drive?” I check.

“I’ll be working, so limo is fine. When will you arrive?”

“Excuse me?” I stop short at his question, and for the first time since arriving today, I feel my confidence dip.

“When will you arrive? You’ll need to ensure everything runs like clockwork. Nina organised most of this, and she won’t be there.”

“I don’t have an invitation, Landon, so I hadn’t planned to be there.” Nope. I’ll be dancing. At The Priory, and not for him.

“If you think you’ll be able to run the event from your sofa at home, then you’ve got little experience in events, which is becoming quite clear now.”

“Hey, knock it off, Landon. I’m more than capable─”

“Then start showing me you’re capable. You can book a car. And you’ll need a room to change. You’ll be there for most of the afternoon. And make sure you wear something appropriate. Not what you’d wear for work.”

“You want me to come to the ball?” I can’t deny that my heart just skipped a little at the thought of attending. From all the plans, the photos, the colour charts and menus, it will be one hell of a party.

“Clearly, that’s evident with what I’ve just said.” The flush of heat that colours my cheeks betrays my thoughts of him in a tux. Of course, I’ve seen him in far more compromising situations, but something about him in a tux makes me press my lips together and swallow.

“You don’t mind if I call in an appointment at Nuova Moda to ensure I have something appropriate, do you? I’m afraid that my wardrobe might not be to everyone’s tastes.” There’s got to be a benefit of working for a media empire with a fashion magazine in the same building

. I smile and glance at my shoes and then back up to Landon.

His eyes linger on my legs for a fraction longer than they should before coming back to look at me. “Fine.”  “Right. I’m off then. And, I have to cancel my plans.” I call back.  “What plans?”

“Another personal question, Landon. What has gotten into you?”  He looks back at his work. “You should probably check your own mouth before questioning mine, Willow.” His hand waves me off, dismissing me. “Don’t come back in here unless there’s an emergency.”

“As you say, Landon.” I mock curtsey before leaving his office. It’s quite fun being in on the secret. Although, as I sit back at my desk, I realise that there could be a path to disaster in front of me if I’m not careful.

5 star Review by Julie

Hot on the back of The Muse, The Lawyer didn’t disappoint.  How could it, written by such  brilliant talent?

Landon has given up everything to take over as CEO of the huge corporation Broderick Media, his life in Chicago has left him callous, ruthless, unforgiving with the inability to have any emotional attachment.  Landon exercises control in all areas of his life including that of his family.  After The Muse, I can’t say I was taken with Landon I thought he was a brute, but after this book…….

Willow is Landon’s new PA, and boy does she take him by surprise.  Having been taught a lesson in tough love, she is motivated to do well in all areas of her life.  She is confident, fierce, spirited and unafraid to speak her mind.  I actually love this girl.

With the ability to breakdown brick walls, Willow brings out a different side to Landon, a softer side and definitely one that takes him by surprise and that he doesn’t understand.  This also brings out a playful side to them both, their natural familiarity is great.  Watching them transverse a professional and personal relationship is captivating.

Both have a secret they want nobody to find out about, Willow’s could have a detrimental effect on her job, but is reluctant to give up her passion, one that allows her to be somebody totally different.

Landon’s is one that nobody can find out about, something that someone of his standing shouldn’t be seen anywhere near, but Landon wont give that up either because it’s his escape and he has a serious obsession.

“All this fucking money, all this position and stature, and it’s nothing but a common whore that reduces me to a goddamn wreck. She’s like a queen in her little box, owning me and every other fuc&ing man that’s here to salivate over her”

Only Willow knows Landons secret and likes the power this gives her, but what happens when Landon finds out the truth.  Betrayal and suspense keeps you gripped.

Landon and Willow ignite the page, each having the power to break the other.  The sizzling chemistry, playfulness, this book has it all.

“What we will become from this point onwards is also still unknown. But we are something. “

The clever crossover in each book is brilliant, you get to see what Seffi and Scott are up to, and also the glimpse into the next.

Thank you Rachel and Charlotte this was absolutely brilliant, can we have The Writer now please !!

Excerpt 1 – Landon

Sitting in the stark, leather chair, I get myself comfortable and look at the glass in front of me. Four-foot square—that’s all I get. A smoky, black sheen covers it at the moment. It’ll be that way until she comes up from below. My cock’s already hard at the thought of it, let alone the sight. Not that I need it. She’s already hardwired into my brain, every fucking inch of her, except her face. I can see her already, see her olive skin and taut, lithe frame. Masses of long dark hair, just enough of it to cascade over firm breasts with dark nipples.

My smile broadens at the thought of them, dirty images coming because of the near sheer lingerie she wore the last time I saw her here. Even the panties were sheer, giving me a glimpse of the dark hair smattered under them. Peachy arse, round and solid under the moves she was pulling off.

Fuck.

I shift in the seat, already needing to ease the tension building in my groin. What I wouldn’t give to get inside her. She’ll be tight, like a clamp around me. Agile muscles holding on until I bend her over something and drill everything I’ve got inside her. Fuck, if she doesn’t make me want to destroy her. I want that wild hair in my hands, that mouth sucking me off. And then I want to

My hand pushes down on my cock at the thought, eyes still trained on this goddamn glass that’s in between us. In fact, the longer I’m waiting, the more I’m damned sure this isn’t going to work for me much longer. Mine—that’s what she needs to be. At least for one night a week.

The swirls of blue smoke start the moment I accept my need to investigate her further, and I watch, transfixed as her body starts rising from beneath the floor. She’s like a devil as she comes into view. Legs spread wide, high blue heels keeping her frame perfectly still as the ground beneath her spins slowly.

My eyes rake over the gold bangles on her arms, her hands perched on her hips, and then up to her head. An intricate mask covers her entire face, as it always does, silver and gold brocade lacing the edges of it with only a sliver of space for her eyes and mouth. A corset today. Fine, blue satin to match her shoes, breasts swelling over the top of it and showing me a hint of nipple. It’s as much of a tease as she is.

And then she starts moving.

Graceful moves at first. Long and demure. She flows like a fucking angel would. Soft and chic, poised and collected, until she ramps up the next few gears and starts acting like the temptress she really is. Long sweeps of her arse in my face, hands that wander over all that skin. One hand down to the floor, legs bending and then slowly climbing her fingers up her legs again.

I groan at the image of her and lean back, my breath ragged and needful. No one else does this to me. Not one fucking woman has ever made me feel so deprived. All this fucking money, all this position and stature, and it’s nothing but a common whore that reduces me to a goddamn wreck. She’s like a queen in her little box, owning me and every other fucking man that’s here to salivate over her.

Tara’s 5***** Review

“Things are different now, and I need to put on my big girl panties and embrace my hometown—jagged edges and all.”
Coming back to face your past is hard, and when June has to come home, to the one place she’s avoided, she has to learn to move on. But when Miles takes interest in her, June can’t help but wonder if her past is replaying itself. She puts up a fortress around her, not letting anyone in. But Miles has his sights set on June and will stop at nothing to get her.
“I’m spending too much time inside my head, revisiting old memories, and putting pressure on myself. It’s not worth it. I promised myself I’d overcome it and grow from it.”
Not So Charming is a love story that will tug on your heart strings. Most of us lived through a time with mean kids and harsh words. Listening to June’s story had my heart breaking for her, but wanting her to see how much she’s changed. Thinking that everyone was against her, her cold shoulder to Miles is frustrating, but once June sees that he’s never been as bad as she thought, your heart will do a little jig with joy! Fabiola is the master of creating towns filled with so much emotion and love! Willow Creek holds a lot of promise for another love story.
“Maybe coming home was less of a punishment and more of a blessing so I can finally release the past and live the life I want, actually figure out what that life is without insecurity holding me back.”

Cold, egotistical and a Foxton.

He tore my final performance to shreds with his pen, and embarrassed me for all the world to see.

But hate wasn’t what I felt for Scott Foxton when he touched me. Enemy wasn’t what I thought when he rescued me either.

I got lost in dreams and hope, and ignored the threats that would follow my own deceit.

For once in my life, family loyalty could be damned.

But then I saw the painting.

And now I can’t lie anymore.

The man I shouldn’t want is the one that holds my heart.

I just have to trust that he’ll still believe me when he knows the truth about Persephone Broderick.

Excerpt 2 – Persephone Broderick

“What else did you want to show me?” I can’t help but feel like this isn’t something that Scott does often, and I want to take my time and savour the experience.

“Well, there’s an exhibition downstairs. Quite the highlight, so I’ve been told,” he muses, leading me from the room.

“Great. What’s it called?” I take a mouthful of my tea as we head for the stairs.

“Sin,” he deadpans.

I choke on the tea and begin coughing hoarsely as I struggle to draw breath. “Easy there. Something I said?” He takes my arm to steady me as I continue to sound like I’m coughing up my lung. “No,” I croak. “Nothing.”  “Come on. After what I did to you the other night, it’s me that’s committed all the sin. You’re the angel in the relationship.”

I’m still spluttering and trying to regain a shred of dignity, but I heard the word relationship. It could be a simple matter of semantics. Of course, it could. Obviously. Still, the smile that spreads on my face because of it is not something I can hide. And considering he’s about to take me to something called Sin, it must mean something more than nothing, surely?

I follow as he leads me back down the stairs to the exhibition located at the front of the building, wondering if hand-holding will happen again at any point. He’s a little distant compared to the park. Or maybe he isn’t and I’m just making up problems that aren’t there. He remains quiet as well, just perusing the room confidently.

Reading that there’s a quiet appreciation for what we’re looking at on his face, I linger back and let him have his space. Although, I’m surprised he hasn’t talked me through it yet. He doesn’t seem to be someone to hold his opinion in. Especially after what he said when we were at his friend’s show.

“So, what does your expert eye tell you?”

“Well, there’s clearly the general theme to the pieces about sin in everyday behaviour.” He puts his arm around me and pulls me in closer to him as he elaborates, and my heart leaps. That’s much better than hand-holding. “I know my definition of sin will be wildly different to yours, for example.” The words feel erotic—personal—as we continue to wander through the darkened exhibit, and it makes my heart pulse with anticipation. “Maybe it’s something we should discuss in greater depth—at mine. Immediately.”

“But we just got here,” I nearly pant.

My senses are now being bombarded by him. And his low, seductive voice, his possessive touch, and the surrounding pieces on the wall aren’t helping calm me either. It’s like he flicked a switch as we entered this room, and all the paintings of flesh and cherubs are firing me up tenfold.

“Lust is a deadly sin, Ms Castlewood. As are you.” His hand moves lower to graze my thigh, one finger labouring the light material of my dress. “And I’ve got things to show you about that. Things you haven’t even dreamed about yet.”

 “You’re incorrigible.”

He pulls me in closer to him, and I realise that the cantankerous and grumpy act is part of him, but that’s just the armour—his defence setting. Beneath that, he’s much more.

It’s easy to get wrapped up in his flirtatious behaviour, almost enough to make me forget what I’m doing and just be, but the bigger sin here is my own betrayal. First to my family, and then to Scott because, as we continue to look around the room, it’s becoming glaringly obvious that I really like this guy. It’s more than just sleeping with him, more than being whimsical or wanting to break the rules, too, and I’m finding it a slow kind of torture to keep all my secrets from him.

I wanted to see more of Scott’s world by coming here, but it’s just backfired on me and reminded me of what I’m doing—the dangerous game I’m playing. It’s a game where it will be more than just my heart that could get hurt.

Review by Tara

A love story, where love has no boundaries.
“I’m interested in one thing alone. It’s blonde, and it’s one thing I probably shouldn’t be interested in at all.”
Both Seffi and Scott are lost in their worlds. Seffi, a young professional ballet dancer, who’s identity is hidden from people, and Scott, a struggling artist who is at war with himself. When these two meet, sparks fly and the rest of the world floats away. Their time together is like fireworks, but when real life creeps in, secrets and heartache interfere with the fairytale.
“It’s more than just sleeping with him, more than being whimsical or wanting to break the rules, too, and I’m finding it a slow kind of torture to keep all my secrets from him. “
The Muse is an intriguing book. There is so much hope, despair, and longing between the pages of this book. Charlotte and Rachel are an amazing team. Their ideas and words flow seamlessly together, enrapturing us. The connections they create with the characters makes you feel like you are truly experiencing the relationships first hand. All the feels….the dark and the light, the lust and hate….The Muse has it all.
“She’s like a muse to me, a sin I can’t deny myself. Soft skin, that smile. Happiness. Light. Spirited. Youthful. Perhaps she just reminds me of possibilities I’ve long since left behind. “

BLURB for The Muse

Excerpt – Scott Foxton

A sudden knock on the door has my eyes snatching a glance that way. No one comes here. I grab my coffee again, hoping they’ll just go away and leave me alone. They don’t. The knocking gets louder and louder, to the point where it’s turning into hammering and I’m throwing my glasses on the table.

Walking to it, I open it as furiously as this mood descending again is worth. I’m so shocked by the vision standing there that I falter back half a step. It’s her. Seffi Castlewood, all five foot whatever of her glaring up at me as if she’s got something to say. Her face softens for half a beat, her eyes fluttering away and down for some reason. It’s then that I remember I’m only half-dressed and still wearing a sheen of sweat from the damn run.

I slam the door in her face immediately, part in surprise, part needing a fucking reprieve from the actual lines of her body, and needing to pull the screens together in case she comes in.

My back presses to the door, eyes searching for my T-shirt, as the hammering starts again instantly. Christ. This was unexpected. I walk and get the screens pulled closed, eyes still manically searching for my top, as I listen to the constant hammering that’s getting louder and louder again.

Eventually, I give up searching because of the attack on my door and swing it wide, somewhere near appropriately prepared for the onslaught of her up close

. “Yes?” I snap.

She barges past me into my space, her frame going under my arm until she’s standing by the table. Three seconds is all it takes for her to take note of The Herald spread open on the table, the picture of her on full display.

“Pleased with yourself, are you?” she snips, at least walking away from the damn thing. Considering the drawing she could be looking at if it hadn’t landed face down, yes, I am.

“What can I do for you, Ms Castlewood?” I ask, standing firm.

“Putting some bloody clothes on would be a good start,” she replies, turning to look through the window.

Shit, I forgot about that. I scan for my T-shirt again, only to finally realise it’s around my damn neck.

By the time I’ve shoved the sweat ridden thing over my head, I find her looking back at me with her arms crossed and the glare back in place again. “It was an unfair critique, Mr Foxton. I want a reprint.”

I snort, astonished at yet more diva behaviour. “Not a chance, Ms Castlewood. It was fair and balanced. Your performance was substandard at best. Tally that with your attitude at the interview and you’re lucky it was even slightly pleasant.”

Her mouth opens at the hostile response, eyes like slits as she walks closer. My whole frame backs away instantly. “And I need to ask you to leave. You’re probably the type to accuse me of sexual harassment because you can’t get your own way.”

““How dare you! I would never accuse anyone of anything of the sort.”

“Of course not. I forgot. Sleeping with people is how your sort get to the top of your game in the first place.”

What was simply indignation and outrage on her features turns damn near violent for someone her size.

“I did not, and have not, slept with anyone to get where I am. Take that back.”

“No.”

She shrugs out of her long, thin cardigan, slinging it on one of my chairs. The very movement flings her billowing summer skirt around, giving me glimpses of everything I should not even notice let alone think about. Tight and taut. Light, creamy skin like silk under the sway of vibrant green.

The matching pistachio heels move towards me again, making me look back up at her face quickly. Sadly, it’s not quick enough for me to bypass the swell of her pert breasts under a partly sheer blouse

. “You seem to think you know everything about me, Mr Foxton. I can assure you, you do not. And that review was completely imbalanced. It was disparaging, mocking, and downright rude.”

“All art is based on opinions. My opinion is mine. You can’t and won’t change it, Ms Castlewood.” I move to the door, opening it for her. “Please leave.”

She drops down onto one of the chairs without acknowledging the door at all, her legs crossing and her chin aloft. “No.” “ Her neck cricks sideways, swinging her blonde, pencil-straight hair about. “Not until you agree to reprint a realistic review and apologise.”

A disgruntled laugh chuckles out of me. “I’ve never apologised for a damned thing in my life, Ms Castlewood. And certainly not for my opinion. If you don’t leave, I will have no choice but to call the police. You have not been invited in.”

Silence. She’s not moving, it seems.

Review by Tara

Wow! I don’t even know where to start! Vow To Protect is a dark and twisted love story that gripped my attention instantly.
“Not pain and torture, but pleasure and peace. It’s the peace men like me grow addicted to. It’s the peace I see in her face when I look at her.”
Being a nuisance, Valentina has been used for show by her father and her horrible fiancé. Away from the public eye, Valentina is used as their own personal punching bag. Taking a risk, Valentina approaches a monster, hoping he can provide her solace. When Adrian sees Val for the first time, he knows he must have her as his own. But in their world, she must come willingly to him. When a “deal” is made, both Valentina and Adrian get more than they bargain for, including a war and uncovering tragic secrets from their past.
“He’s beauty and brutality in perfect harmony. And I want both for as long as he’ll keep me.”
Vow To Protect is heart wrenching and raw. J. L. and Monica take us on and emotional ride with this twisted love story. Your heart will cry for the characters, and what they have gone through in their lives. Watching the horrible things that Valentina must endure is hard, but seeing her grow is empowering. Adrian is a known monster, but watching him come undone for love will have your heart beat faster. Each page of this book is filled with such intensity, you won’t be able to put down this book.
“She’s heaven and I’m hell, and when we collide, nothing will stand in our way.”

Tara’s 4**** Review

“I’m golden. He’s right. I always have been. Everything I’ve ever touched worked out just the way I wanted it to.”
Cash is in a world of trouble. His business has been seized, and now his family knows about the lies he’s been telling them for years. In the process, he is sure he has lost Savannah for good. Should he walk away for fight for her love? Savannah has always been quiet, keeping her opinions to herself. But after meeting Cash something in Savannah changes, and she allows her inner voice to come through. Standing up for Cash is what she wants to do, and nothing will get in her way.
“ “I deserve someone who loves me. Nobody gets to choose what the circumstances are when you fall in love. That you love me and I love you is all that’s important.” “
Ambitious is the follow-up to Ravenous. Leaving us in a cliff hanger, K. M. takes us through Cash and Savannah’s journey through love, family drama, and Cash’s legal trouble. Thankfully Cash’s family and Savannah’s sister are along for the ride. Watching Savannah go for a timid girl to a ‘take-what-she-wants’ kind of woman is so fun, you will want to high five her! Be sure to read Ravenous first, so you have the whole story!
“We started out a little rough, and I’ll forever be guilty of a crime, but between the two of us, we have enough love to make it. And we have a family around us to help us remember even when things get rocky, there’s always people who love you for who you are.”
