BLURB

Six years.
Seventy-two months.

Over two thousand days.

That’s what I’d dedicated to that guitar-playing a*sehole, Danny Silver.

Now I, Daisy Piper, was left to pick up the wreckage of his love while he ran off with the band to find fortune and fame.

Life went on without him, and a new man soon rescued me from the ashes of Danny, but a part of my heart remained a little broken, no matter who tried to fix it. First loves can’t be forgotten so easily, and when Danny returned to our small hometown in Devon—famous and adored by millions—I couldn’t stop myself from wanting to get a glimpse of the man I’d once laid beside, to see how much he’d changed.

The smallest actions make for the biggest mistakes, and a single look into Danny’s eyes was all it took before I ran. I ran because the spark that came to life inside felt dangerous, and I wasn’t the kind of girl who enjoyed getting burnt twice.

But running from a rock star isn’t as easy as I thought it would be, and with Danny’s sights now firmly set on me again, all I could do was pray that he got bored of the chase. That he thought life in Devon was too slow for him, and that he craved the bright lights of the city, as well as the noise of the stadium.

If he didn’t, I was about to ruin everything for everyone.

Especially myself, and my stupid little Silver-lined heart.

Tara’s 5**** Review
“Daisy had been my ghost note for so long—the faint yet integral part of the song no one else could hear, but I knew was needed.”
Ghost Note will have you loving love. It will have you smiling, crying, laughing and cheering, all the way to the last word!
“Us
You and me.
Your lips on my skin every day.
Waking up to your sleepy smile.
Growing old and grey, side by side.
Making it work, somehow.
Saying goodbye to the regret and saying hello to the possibilities.”
Ghost Note introduces us to Front Row Frogs, and their guitarist Danny. Danny has always loved Daisy, but when he needs to find himself, he has to walk away from love. Five years later he’s back….and he is on a mission to win her back. Daisy’s heart was destroyed and she is beyond mad when Danny comes back into her life. For five years she wondered why…now that he’s back, he will find out that Daisy isn’t who she used to be. Grab a fan, because Ghost Note is HOT!! Daisy and Danny’s relationship is OFF THE CHARTS steamy, with some fist biting and heart tugging!
“Old love doesn’t just die. It gets weaker and weaker as time goes on, but it still drifts through your veins, searching for that connection it once had.”
I have known Vicki for a while, and she is constantly amazing me with her literary talents. Every single word word she writes sparkles and sings, flowing together effortlessly. She puts so much love into her characters, it’s hard to believe they live in a book, and are not walking amongst us.
Vicki keeps outdoing herself with her rockstars! Just when you think you have a fav (mmmm Rhett….) she introduces us to a new, drool worthy hottie! The female characters she speaks for are so strong and unique. Daisy is quiet, a homebody and someone that wants to make sure everyone else is happy. (I can totally relate to her 100%). But inside she has a fire, just waiting to be stoked.
“His hands were made for making sweet music, and I felt every melody running through my veins as I stared at him, breathing him in. I was the first instrument he’d ever learned how to play, and nothing could ever change that.”
